Skyworks announces full redemption of 1.5% convertibles due 2012

Kansas City, Kan., Feb. 7 - Skyworks Solutions, Inc. has redeemed in full its 1.5% convertible subordinated notes due March 2012, according to a 10-Q filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

During the three months ended Dec. 30, the company redeemed $9.4 million principal amount of the notes at a total cost of $14.9 million.

The company said it subsequently redeemed the remaining $17.3 million of the notes at a cost of $32.8 million.

Skyworks makes analog and mixed-signal semiconductors and is based in Woburn, Mass.
