Fitch rates Singer Finance (Lanka)’s debentures BBB (ika)

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Singer Finance (Lanka) plc’s proposed Sri Lanka rupee-denominated senior unsecured debentures of up to LKR1.5 billion an expected national long-term rating of BBB(lka).

The proposed debentures will have three- and five-year maturities and will carry fixed- and floating-rate coupons.

Proceeds will be used to support the company’s loan-book expansion.
