Shinhan Bank will hold investor meetings for green mortgage bond

Chicago, Jan. 9 – Shinhan Bank will hold investor meetings starting on Jan. 15 for a two-tranche green mortgage covered bond offering (Aaa//AAA), according to a market source.

The bonds will be euro-denominated and are expected to come in tenors of three and five years.

The transaction will be backed by Korean residential mortgages.

BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole CIB, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, LBBW, Mizuho and Societe Generale will be joint lead managers.

Distribution will be through Regulation S.

Shinhan Bank is a lender based in Seoul, South Korea.
