Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 14 - Shear Wind Inc. said it plans a C$26.93 million private placement of stock.
The company will sell 96,439,595 common shares at C$0.2792 apiece to Genera Avante Holdings Canada Inc.
Shear Wind, which has headquarters in Halifax, N.S., is engaged in the exploration and development of renewable energy.
