Non-brokered offering to raise funding for project work in Kurdistan

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 25 - ShaMaran Petroleum Corp. said it arranged a C$50 million non-brokered private placement of stock.
The company will sell 125 million common shares at C$0.40 per share. The per-share price represents a 6.67% premium to the Oct. 24 closing share price of C$0.375.
Proceeds will be used for development, appraisal and exploration work on the company's projects in Kurdistan as well as general working capital.
The Kurdistan-focused oil development and exploration company is based in Vancouver, B.C.
