Sentry hires Dutkiewicz to lead fixed-income portfolio management team

Kansas City, Kan., May 10 - Sentry Investments has hired James Dutkiewicz as vice president and senior portfolio manager to lead the company's fixed-income portfolio management team, effective May 16, according to a news release.

Dutkiewicz will take over as lead portfolio manager of the Sentry Tactical Bond Fund and the Sentry Tactical Bond Capital Yield Class and will also be responsible for the fixed-income investments for the Sentry Conservative Balanced Income Fund, the Sentry Conservative Balanced Income Class and the Sentry Growth and Income Fund. He replaces senior portfolio manager Shane Stuck, who will be leaving Sentry.

Dutkiewicz previously worked with Signature Global Advisors of CI Investments Inc., where he managed more than C$10 billion in assets.

Sentry is an asset management company based in Toronto.
