J.P. Morgan Partners, affiliates, sell some 2 million shares of Seattle Genetics Stock

Charlotte, N.C., March 1 - J.P. Morgan Partners (BHCA), LP and its affiliates sold 2,015,000 shares of Seattle Genetics, Inc. common stock in open market transactions on Feb. 9 at a price of $8.57 per share, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Collectively, J.P. Morgan Partners (BHCA) and the global fund entities own 5,317,500 shares, or 10.42%, of the Bothell, Wash.-based biotechnology company's common stock.

Seattle Genetics' stock (Nasdaq: SGEN) closed at $7.80 on Feb. 28.
