Seattle to price $164.95 million drainage, wastewater bonds Wednesday

New York, June 3 – Seattle is set to price $164,945,000 of series 2016 drainage and wastewater system improvement and refunding revenue bonds on Wednesday, said a preliminary official statement.

The bonds (Aa1/AA+) will be sold competitively with Piper Jaffray & Co. as the financial adviser.

The bonds are due 2016 to 2046.

Proceeds will be used to finance capital improvements to the city’s drainage and wastewater systems and to refund existing debt, subject to market conditions.
