Seattle prepares $164.28 million municipal light and power bonds

New York, June 16 – The City of Seattle plans to price $164.28 million of series 2015A municipal light and power revenue bonds on June 23, according to a preliminary official statement.

The bonds (Aa2/AA/) will be sold competitively with Piper Jaffray & Co. as the financial adviser.

The bonds are due 2016 to 2045.

Proceeds will be used to finance capital improvements to the city’s light system.
