Seattle, Wash., coordinates $96.19 million sale of solid waste bonds

New York, May 27 - The City of Seattle, Wash., plans to price $96.19 million of series 2014 solid waste revenue and refunding bonds, according to a preliminary official statement. Pricing is expected on June 4.

The bonds (Aa3/AA/) will be sold on a competitive basis with Piper Jaffray & Co. and Seattle-Northwest Securities Corp. as the financial advisers.

The bonds are due 2015 to 2039.

Proceeds will be used to finance various capital projects for the city's solid waste system.
