New York, April 1 - The City of Seattle brought to market $79.1 million of series 2014 general obligation bonds, according to a pricing sheet.
The deal included $62.9 million of series 2014 limited tax G.O. improvement and refunding bonds (Aa1/AAA/AAA) and $16.2 million of series 2014 unlimited tax G.O. bonds (Aaa/AAA/AAA).
The limited tax bonds are due 2015 to 2034 with 3% to 5% coupons.
The unlimited tax bonds are due 2015 to 2037 with term bonds due in 2039 and 2043. The serial coupons range from 3% to 5%. The 2039 bonds have a 4% coupon priced at par. The 2043 bonds have a 4% coupon priced at 99.
The bonds were sold competitively, but the winning bidders were not immediately available Tuesday.
Proceeds will be used to design, construct, renovate, improve and replace bridges, waterfront facilities, internet technology, golf and capital projects, as well as to replace a seawall and refund existing debt.
