Seattle to sell $215.85 million water system improvement bonds Nov. 19

New York, Nov. 12 - The city of Seattle is expected to price $215.845 million in series 2008 water system improvement and revenue refunding bonds on Nov. 19, according to a preliminary official statement released Wednesday.

The bonds (Aa2/AA+/) will be sold on a competitive basis with Seattle-Northwest Securities Corp. as the financial adviser.

The bonds are due 2009 to 2038.

Proceeds will be used to improve the city's water system and to refund existing bonds.
