Sea Launch hires Christopher L. Picone as chief restructuring officer

Pittsburgh, Nov. 17 - Sea Launch Co., LLC received court approval to hire Christopher L. Picone as its chief restructuring officer, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The hiring is retroactive to Oct. 16.

Sea Launch, a Long Beach, Calif., heavy-lift satellite commercial launch service provider, filed for bankruptcy on June 22. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-12153.
