Seagate says 2.375% convertibles due 2012 no longer convertible

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 30 - Seagate Technology's 2.375% convertible senior notes due August 2012, which were acquired from Maxtor Corp., are no longer convertible, according to a 10-Q filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes stopped being convertible on Oct. 4.

Based in the Cayman Islands, Seagate is engaged in the design, manufacture and marketing of hard disc drives.
