Fitch lifts Scottish Power

Fitch Ratings said it upgraded Scottish Power Ltd.'s long-term issuer default rating to A- from BBB+.

The outlook remains stable.

The agency said it has affirmed subsidiary Scottish Power UK plc's long-term issuer default rating at A- with stable outlook.

The agency noted that Scottish Power's senior unsecured rating is upgraded to A from A- and Scottish Power UK's senior unsecured rating is affirmed at A.
