Moody's gives Scotia CB A1 currency

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned its A1 long-term global local currency issuer rating as well as a short-term Prime-1 issuer rating to Scotia Inverlat Casa de Bolsa, SA de CV.

On its Mexican national-scale, Moody's said it assigned Aaa.mx long-term and MX-1 short-term issuer ratings.

All have stable outlooks.

Moody's added that the ratings on Scotia CB reflect the broker's very close links and integration with Scotiabank Inverlat, SA (C-/A1, with stable outlook).

As part of Grupo Financiero Scotiabank Inverlat, both subsidiaries share common infrastructure, brand and funding as well as staff and risk management practices, the agency said.
