Scientific Games lifts repurchase program for 0.75% convertibles to $183.3 million

New York, Aug. 17 - Scientific Games Corp. increased the authorized amount of its repurchase program for its 0.75% convertible senior subordinated debentures due 2024 to $183.3 million from $158.3 million, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The original amount for the repurchase program was $50 million, and the company added that $115.5 million of 0.75% convertibles remains outstanding as of Monday.
Through Aug. 17, the company has repurchased $158.3 million of the debentures, leaving $25 million available to be repurchased under the program.
As already reported, the company bought back about $84.4 million of the convertibles for about $81.7 million in cash during the second quarter. Between July 1 and Aug. 10, the company repurchased about $26.8 million of the convertibles for roughly $26.3 million in cash.
Scientific Games is a New York supplier of technology-based products, systems and services to gaming markets.
