Schooner announces launch of the Schooner Global Asset Return Fund

Minneapolis, Feb. 28 - Schooner Investment Group launched the Schooner Global Asset Return Fund, the company announced in a press release.

The fund is a multi-asset class fund providing both long and short exposure to domestic and international equities, fixed income, currencies and volatility.

Alec Petro and Brian Chen are the portfolio managers for the fund.

Petro is a senior partner with Schooner, with more than 25 years of portfolio management experience in his decision-making process.

Chen, director of research and quantitative strategies with the firm, applies the same discipline to his work in investment strategies as he did when obtaining his Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer science, with a minor in finance, from MIT, the company said.

The funds' adviser is Wayne, Pa.-based Schooner Investment Group, LLC.
