Moody's gives Atrium notes Caa1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned Atrium Windows and Doors, Inc. a Caa1 corporate family rating and Caa1-PD probability of default rating.

The agency also rated Atrium's proposed $300 million senior secured notes at Caa1 and assigned speculative-grade liquidity assessment of SGL-3.

The outlook is stable.

The proceeds from the $300 million note issuance along with other debt (not rated) will be used to refinance the company's current debt securities that include a term loan, revolving credit facility, and mezzanine notes.
