Tao Tsuot buys more shares of Scailex

Charlotte, N.C., March 3 - Investors led by Tao Tsuot Ltd. purchased 410,671 shares of Scailex Corp. common stock between Jan. 17 and Feb. 25 priced from $9.75 to $10.75 per share.

The shares were purchased for a total of some $4.22 million and paid for by Tao Tsuot from its working capital, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Previously, Tao Tsuot purchased 548,191 shares between Dec. 27 and Jan. 16 for $5.57 million, a prior SEC filing stated.

Tao Tsuot and its affiliates beneficially own 13,974,216 shares, or 36.60%, of the Tel Aviv-based digital systems development company.

The investors reported a 21.71% stake in Scailex on Jan. 17.
