Tao Tsuot buys additional shares of Scailex

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 27 - Scailex Corp. shareholders led by Tao Tsuot Ltd. upped their stake in the company to 21.71% from 20.40% with the purchase of an additional 383,766 shares of the company's stock between Oct. 30 and Dec. 25.

The shares were priced from $9.45 to $10.53 each, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The reporting persons beneficially own some 8.28 million shares of the Tel Aviv-based digital systems development company.

It was previously reported that Tao Tsuot owned 7,363,181 shares, or 19.297%, of Scailex shares on Sept. 18. On March 5, 2007, Tao Tsuot reported a 13% stake in the company.
