Tao Tsuot increases ownership interest in Scailex

Charlotte, N.C., Jan. 17 - Investors led by Tao Tsuot Ltd. purchased 548,191 shares of Scailex Corp. common stock between Dec. 27 and Jan. 16.

The shares were bought for a total of $5.57 million and paid for by Tao Tsuot from its working capital, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Prior to that, Tao Tsuot purchased 383,766 shares between Oct. 3 and Dec. 12 priced from $9.61 to $10.53 each, a separate SEC filing stated.

Tao Tsuot and its affiliates beneficially own 8,837,610 shares, or 23.15%, of the Tel Aviv-based digital systems development company.

The investors reported a 21.71% stake in Scailex on Dec. 27.
