Tao Tsuot ups stake in Scailex with purchase of more than 800,000 shares

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 9 - Shareholders led by Tao Tsuot Ltd. bought 835,168 shares of Scailex Corp. stock between May 30 and Aug. 8 for a total of $7,183,163. The shares were priced from $8.31 to $9.29 each, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The reporting persons own 6,859,911 shares, or 17.97%, of the Tel Aviv-based digital systems development company.

From March 1 through March 31, Tao Tsuot-led shareholders purchased 625,125 shares of the company's stock priced from $8.04 to $8.57. At that time, the investors reported ownership of 5,603,071 shares, or 14.72% of the company.
