S&P alters SB-Alfa Bank view to stable

S&P said it revised the outlook for to stable from positive and affirmed its BB- long-term issuer credit rating on SB Alfa-Bank. At the same time, S&P affirmed the bank’s kzA Kazakhstan national scale rating.

“The outlook revision reflects our view that current challenging operating conditions from the economic slowdown in Kazakhstan will likely put pressure on SB Alfa-Bank's asset quality in the medium term as well as on core earnings and return on equity,” said S&P in a press release.
