Atrium to bring $50 million add-on to 10½% notes due 2009

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, Nov. 18 - Atrium Cos., Inc. is expected to reopen its issue of 10½% senior subordinated notes due May 1, 2009 in order to price a $50 million add-on (B3), according to market sources.

No timing on the deal had been heard late Tuesday, the sources added.

UBS Investment Bank will run the books.

Atrium will use proceeds to help fund the acquisition of the company by Kenner & Co., including repayment of existing bank debt, partial repayment of the existing accounts receivable securitization facility and repayment of the holding company PIK notes.

The company is a Dallas-based window manufacturer.

The original deal priced in 1999.
