Sazka: Insolvency administrator traffic incident may be no accident

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, June 22 - Sazka, AS insolvency administrator Josef Cupka was involved in a traffic incident on Tuesday that the company said may not have been accidental.

According to a Sazka news release, Cupka was dragged several meters on the hood of a silver Skoda car before the driver stopped.

Witnesses said the car stopped before the crossing, but suddenly pulled away when Cupka reached the middle of the road.

Based on suspicion that the incident was not accidental, Sazka said Cupka informed the Czech Republic police on Wednesday.

The company said the administrator's team also believes a campaign has been prepared to discredit Cupka as Sazka's current boss.

Sazka is a Czech Republic lottery company.
