Sazka administrator restores existing retail contracts, sales increase

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, June 15 - Sazka, AS insolvency administrator Josef Cupka and his team have restored most of the company's existing contracts with retailers, according to a news release.

The company said almost 6,000 terminals are available for clients across the Czech Republic, and customers can once again make a majority of their payments via Sazka terminals.

Sazka said a complete portfolio of products is available to bettors, as terminals can also be used for purchasing tickets, making e-payments and purchasing special cards for calling abroad.

In addition, the company said its negotiations are ongoing with mobile phone operators regarding GSM mobile phone top-up service.

Sazka's sales rose again last week compared to the previous week, and a similar trend has been recorded at the company since Monday, the release said.

Sazka is a Czech Republic lottery company.
