S&P raises Saudi corporates

S&P said it raised the ratings for Saudi Electric Co. and Saudi Basic Industries Corp. to A from A-. Both owned by the Saudi government.

The upgrades follow a similar action by the agency on Saudi Arabia’s ratings to A from A- on March 17, S&P said.

The outlook is stable.
