Sarasota, Fla., defeases land, parkland bonds

Norfolk, Va., Dec. 23 – Sarasota County, Fla., defeased its series 2008 environmentally sensitive lands and parkland program limited ad valorem tax bonds, according to a notice.

The following will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Oct. 1, 2018:

• $320,000 of 4.125% bonds due Oct. 1, 2019;

• $4,825,000 of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2020;

• $5,065,000 of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2021;

• $5,315,000 of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2022;

• $5,585,000 of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2023;

• $5,865,000 of 5.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2024;

• $6.17 million of 5.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2025;

• $6,495,000 of 5.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2026;

• $6,835,000 of 5.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2027;

• $7,195,000 of 5.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2028;

• $4.1 million of 5.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2029; and

• $3.46 million of 4.875% bonds due Oct. 1, 2029.
