Moody's assigns A3 to San Diego Redevelopment bonds

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A3 rating to the San Diego Redevelopment Agency's $69 million Centre City Redevelopment Project tax allocation housing bonds, series 2008A (taxable).

Sale of the bonds is expected on May 29.

Moody's also affirmed the A3 rating on the agency's parity obligations series 2004C & D and 2006B.

Proceeds of the current issue will be used to fund various low and moderate income housing projects within the city.
