Atlas Energy files automatic shelf registration

Des Moines, March 13 - Atlas Energy Resources, LLC; Atlas Energy Operating Co., LLC; and Atlas Energy Finance Corp. filed an automatic shelf registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission, according to an S-3ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common units, preferred units, warrants and debt securities. Securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Atlas is a natural gas and development and production company based in Moon Township, Pa.
