New Issue: Atlas Air issues $140.6 million 2.668% 11-year notes under term loan

Madison, Wis., Jan. 31 - Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. borrowed $140.6 million under its $864.8 million term loan facility dated Jan. 30, 2012 with Apple Bank for Savings by issuing 2.668% notes. The 11-year notes were issued on Jan. 27, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes and the facility are guaranteed by the Export-Import Bank of the United States.

To date, six loans totaling $854.3 million have been made under the facility dated Jan. 30, 2012. Five of the loans were term loans refinanced through previously announced bond issuances.

Each of the six loans are secured by a mortgage on a 747-8F aircraft.

Atlas Air is a Purchase, N.Y., provider of air cargo and related services worldwide.
