Atlantis Plastics starts roadshow for $125 million seven-year notes via Bear Stearns

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, Jan. 18 - Atlantis Plastics Inc. kicked off a Jan. 18-25 roadshow on Tuesday for its $125 million offering of seven-year senior subordinated notes, according to a market source.

Bear Stearns & Co. is the bookrunner for the Rule 144A offering. BNP Paribas and Jefferies & Co. are co-managers.

Proceeds together with a new amended, restated credit facility, will be used to repay existing senior secured debt and help fund a special dividend to shareholders of up to $118 million.

The issue is an Atlanta-based manufacturer of specialty plastic films and custom molded and extruded plastic products used for storage and transportation, food service, appliance, automotive, commercial and consumer applications.
