Knoxville, Tenn., May 16 - Rye Patch Gold Corp. said it completed a C$1.25 million non-brokered private placement of stock.
The company sold 5 million common shares at C$0.25 apiece to Kinross Gold Corp.
Proceeds will be used for exploration and development of the company's mineral projects and for working capital.
Vancouver, B.C.-based Rye Patch is a gold exploration company.
