New Issue: Scotiabank prices $377,000 trigger index-linked notes tied to Russell 2000

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 31 – Bank of Nova Scotia priced $377,000 0% trigger index-linked notes due Jan. 31, 2024 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes above its initial level, the payout will be par plus 125% of the index return, capped at $1,520 per $1,000 of notes.

If the index finishes flat or falls by up to 20%, the payout will be par plus the absolute value of the return of the index.

Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the index from its initial level.

Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. is the agent and Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is the dealer.
