New Issue: GS Finance sells $710,000 autocallable index-linked notes on Russell, Stoxx

Chicago, Jan. 27 – GS Finance Corp. priced $710,000 of 0% autocallable index-linked notes due Jan. 20, 2023 tied to the Russell 2000 index and the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The notes will be called at par plus a 10% annualized premium if each index closes at or above its call level on any annual call observation date. The call level will be100% of each index’s initial level on the first annual call observation date and 95% of each index’s initial level on the second annual observation date.

If the notes are not called and each index finishes at or above 90% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 30%.

If the lesser performing index finishes below its initial level but at or above its trigger level, 70% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par.

If either index falls below its trigger level, investors will be exposed to any losses of the worst-performing index.
