New Issue: TD Bank sells $1.59 million leveraged buffered notes on index, ETF basket

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 2 – Toronto-Dominion Bank priced $1.59 million of 0% leveraged buffered notes due Dec. 24, 2024 linked to a basket of three indexes and an exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of the Dow Jones industrial average with a 35% weight, the S&P 500 index with a 25% weight, the Russell 2000 index with a 20% weight and the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF weight with a 20% weight.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.04 times any basket gain.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 30% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline from the initial level if the basket falls by more than 30%.
