New Issue: GS Finance sells $1.16 million index-linked notes on Russell, S&P

Olympia, Wash., Dec. 10 – GS Finance Corp. priced $1.16 million of 0% index-linked notes due Nov. 29, 2024 tied to the Russell 2000 index and the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If each index finishes at or its initial level, the payout at maturity will be $1,300 per $1,000 of notes.

If the lesser performing index falls by up to 35%, the payout will be par plus the absolute value of the return of the lesser performing index.

If either index falls by more than 35%, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the lesser performing index.
