New Issue: Citi prices $650,000 contingent coupon autocallables linked to S&P, Russell

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 30 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $650,000 of contingent coupon autocallable notes due Aug. 27, 2024 linked to the lesser performing of the S&P 500 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

Each month, the notes pay a contingent coupon at the rate of 6% per year if each index closes at or above its coupon barrier level, 80% of its initial level, on the observation date for that month.

Beginning in August 2020, the notes will be automatically called at par if each index closes at or above its initial level on any monthly observation date.

The payout at maturity will be par unless either index finishes below its buffer level, 80% of its initial level, in which case investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the lesser performing index beyond 20%
