New Issue: Barclays sells $3.7 million phoenix autocallable notes on Russell 2000

Morgantown, W.Va., April 1 – Barclays Bank plc priced $3.7 million of phoenix autocallable notes due March 13, 2024 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 7.72% if the index closes at or above its 70% coupon barrier on a related quarterly observation date.

After one year, the notes will be called at par plus the contingent coupon if the index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly observation date other than the final date.

The payout at maturity will be par unless the index falls by more than 30%, in which case investors will be exposed to the index decline.
