New Issue: GS Finance sells $326,000 index-linked notes on S&P 500, Russell

Olympia, Wash., March 28 – GS Finance Corp. priced $326,000 of 0% index-linked notes due Dec. 30, 2021 linked to the lesser performing of the S&P 500 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the index return of each index is greater than its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the lesser performing index return, subject to the maximum settlement amount of $1,175 for each $1,000 face amount of notes.

If the index return of any index is equal to or less than its initial level, the payout at maturity will be the greater of the minimum settlement amount of $950 per $1,000 note and par plus the return of the lesser performing index.
