New Issue: GS Finance sells $3.23 million callable contingent coupon notes on indexes

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 31 – GS Finance Corp. priced $3.23 million of callable contingent coupon notes due Jan. 31, 2029 linked to the least performing of the Russell 2000 index and the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes pay a contingent monthly coupon at an annualized rate of 6.25% if each index closes at or above its coupon barrier level, 75% of its initial level, on the observation date for that period.

The notes will be callable in whole at par on any coupon payment date beginning in January 2020.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any coupon.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
