Barclays plans to price 4.55% buffered notes tied to Russell 2000

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 29 – Barclays Bank plc plans to sell 4.55% buffered notes due Feb. 27, 2026 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable quarterly.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to the 15% buffer, remains flat or gains. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond the buffer amount.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes (Cusip: 06747MBW5) will price on Feb. 25.
