Barclays will price 4.85% buffered notes linked to Russell 2000 index

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 31 – Barclays Bank plc plans to sell 4.85% buffered notes due Jan. 30, 2026 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable quarterly.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to the 15% buffer, remains flat or gains. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond the buffer amount.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes (Cusip: 06747M5Z5) will price Jan. 28 and settle Jan. 31.
