New Issue: GS Finance sells $2.03 million autocallable index-linked notes on S&P, Russell

Olympia, Wash., Dec. 28 – GS Finance Corp. priced $2.03 million of 0% autocallable index-linked notes due Dec. 30, 2021 tied to the Russell 2000 index and the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be called at par plus a 12.3% annualized premium if both indexes close at or above their initial index levels on the first call observation date and 95% of their initial levels on the second observation date.

The first observation date is Dec. 27, 2019 and the second one is Dec. 28, 2020.

If the return of both indexes is greater than or equal to negative 10%, the payout will be par plus 36.9%.

If the return of both indexes is greater than or equal to negative 25% but the index return of either index is less than negative 10%, the payout will be par.

If the return of either index is less than negative 25%, the payout will be par plus the return of the lesser performing index.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
