Credit Suisse plans trigger gears due 2021 linked to Russell 2000

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 12 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch plans to price 0% trigger gears due Oct. 29, 2021 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.1 to 1.12 times any index gain. The exact upside gearing will be set at pricing.

If the index falls by up to 25%, the payout will be par.

Investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline if the index finishes below its 75% downside threshold.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and UBS Financial Services Inc. are the agents.

The notes will price on Oct. 26 and settle on Oct. 30.

The Cusip number is 22549R508.
