Barclays to price 4.5% buffered notes due 2023 tied to Russell, S&P

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 9 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 4.5% buffered notes due Oct. 24, 2023 linked to the Russell 2000 index and the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable quarterly.

The payout at maturity will be par unless either index falls by more than 20%, in which case investors will be exposed to any losses of the lesser-performing index beyond the 20% buffer.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on Oct. 19 and settle on Oct. 24.

The Cusip number is 06746XSG9.
