Barclays plans buffered digital plus notes due 2023 tied to Russell

Olympia, Wash., July 30 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered digital plus notes due Aug. 31, 2023 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes at or above its 85% threshold level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of any gain up to a maximum return of 50% and the digital percentage of 22% to 24%.

Otherwise, investors will be exposed to any losses beyond the 15% buffer.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on Aug. 28 and settle on Aug. 31.

The Cusip number is 06746XKR3.
