Goldman plans 8%-9% contingent coupon autocalls on Russell, Stoxx 50

By Susanna Moon

Chicago, May 9 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price autocallable contingent coupon notes due June 6, 2028 linked to the lesser performing of the Russell 2000 index and the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 8% to 9% if each index closes at or above its 75% coupon barrier on the observation date for that quarter.

The notes will be called at par if each index closes at or above its initial level on any review date after six months.

The payout at maturity will be par unless either underlying index finishes below its 50% downside threshold, in which case investors will be fully exposed to any losses of the worse performing index.

The guarantor is Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on May 29 and settle on May 31.

The Cusip number is 40055Q4D1.
