Goldman plans 4.74% coupon buffered callables tied to Russell 2000

Chicago, May 7 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 4.74% fixed coupon callable buffered notes due May 30, 2023 tied to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Interest is payable quarterly.
The notes are callable on any interest payment date after one year.
The payout at maturity will be par unless the index falls by more than 15%, in which case exposure to losses beyond buffer.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
The notes will price on May 24 and settle on May 30.
The Cusip is 40055AZZ3.
